UCOP Veteran Advisory Board

UCOP Veteran Advisory Board

UC President Janet Napalanto recently created a Veteran Advisory Board after meeting with veterans from each UC campus. Read more about it here.

UCI student Jessica Garcia will be the representative for the veteran population at UCI. Read her message to the veteran population below.

Dear Veteran Students,

I am writing not only as a veteran student myself but as your veteran representative to the office of the UC President Janet Napolitano. It is an honor to represent our campus and to give UCI veterans a voice on the Veteran Advisory Board. As a member of the advisory board my responsibilities are to address any barriers that veteran students might have to education while attending a UC campus. I need your help, if you want change for our campus and other UC campuses I need to hear your ideas and opinions so I can better serve you.

Please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely

Jessica Garcia
